Copywriters are people who write words which are used in market communications. Call it advertising, public relations, promotion, whatever. It's all about communications. So, through copywriters's words something communicates with somebody. With us, in general. So, usually copywriters communicate with themselves.
What does copywriting have incommon with just writing? Hm ... Words? And the difference in limitations? For example: the copywriting would be described as a creative process of how to combine words in exact time or exact space or both. To create a message you want best. Or better – the client wants only.
Working Conditions for copywriters vary. From advertising agency's employee to freelance creative. One has a decent sallery, the other enormous freedom. Pick your style! Both have crises typical for the vividly-hectish environment of media, advertising production and on-and-on pressure. Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines are keeping copywriters alive.
Top copywriting talents are being hunted all the time. It is a f.. competitive neighborhood up here. Therefore if you want to be good, better or outstanding – you should practice A LOT. Some would agree on this, some would disagree. We don't care. We just wanna socialize and knitt the net.
